I predicted 1-0 win over Qatar but I actually think we can win this game 2-0 if we score early. UAE is going to play very tight and probably park the bus since they know we need a win to avoid Japan.

guys UAE's defence isn't as physical and fast as Bahrain's and Qatar's. Iran will have a good attacking game against this team. Hope Azmoun is available if not the likes of Dejagah, JB, Gucci, etc can score a few goals in this game! UAE is not designed to sit back and defend like they haven't against Bahrain and Qatar. If they do this against Iran, they will regret it. If they attack Iran, it will be a tough defence to crack and they will vulnerable on the counter.

Iran's defence needs to be alert as UAE's attack is on fire compared to Qatar's and Bahrain's. They weren't that impressive today vs Bahrain. I'd be disappointed if Iran can't beat UAE on Monday.

At the end of the day we MUST win this game even though we have already qualified for the QFs. I really hope CQ benches Shojaei because he has a yellow card and places jahanbaksh instead. We have to throw caution to the wind and try and score early. I would like to see Gucci and Sardar both starting and TM playing with kind of 2 striker formation.

I predict a 2-1 win for TM.

Qatar's game is totally different than the UAE game.

In the Qatar game, Qatar was forced to attack and we were comfortable hitting them on the counters and set pieces. This is because we won our first game and Qatar needed to win or else they were out. We technically would make it through had we drawn this game.

Anyway, the UAE game is different. We have absolutely nothing to lose, hence look for CQ to insert JB and Gucci back into the line up with Dejagah and Ehsan Hajsafi. Rafei might even have a chance to play. A draw or a loss means the same thing, we won't top the group.

We need to absolutely win this game...so I expect a similarly organized approach but with a little more flair in attack..

UAE has one of the best midfield line of any team in this tournament. They have also been lucky at times. But playing against the mighty Iran will be the true test for them. I expect them to play a closer game than before. If Iran controls the midfield we will beat them hands down. We have a better defense, somewhat weaker midfield, and our forwards are a tad better. So I expect a tie or a close win for Iran.

Uae has been very lucky their 4-1 vs qatar was because if defensive and goalie mistakes and their win vs bahrain was because of an own goal. If Iran consider themselves contenders they should win this game.
