Group A Final Matches [AFC Asian Cup 2015] - Date, Time, & Live Updates
Wow guys, I just tuned in for the 2nd half. This tournament keeps getting better and better for us. Two of the 3 favorites + the tournament's surprise / dark horse all in the bottom bracket!!!
But most importantly, we came into this tournament as the team with the worst preparation but if we top or group, we'll actually end up as the team with the best / most effective preparation, having played and beaten our next two knock-out round opponents!!!
This game also showed that Australia is very beatable at home in front of their opponents and that a lot of people were over-estimating their abilities. I'm also sure it showed to the S. Korean and TM fans that wins don't have to be pretty to be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Korea defended very well and took the chance presented to them. Australia had 70% possession and blew some chances where they should have scored. The bench players who started played well and outplayed the Koreans for most of the game. When the subs came on Korea were very lucky not to concede as they were running out of gas. This is a bad result for Japan because now they are likely to meet Australia in the semis.

How is that bad for Japan? They will cruise past Australia...
Ok guys we are in deep shit if we do not defeat uae.
Our route to the final will look like this. Japan in quarter and australia in semis.
If we defeat them our route will look like this. Iraq in quarter and then korea in semis.

Iran has to defeat one of them anyway I don't see the big deal about the "route" to the final.
Personally I think the task to win the Asian Cup is going to be very tough if we mess up vs. UAE: as Peiman92 mentioned, we will face cup-favorites Japan and Australia. I would rather play them in the semi-final and the final instead of so early in the quarter finals.
If anything, the outcome of this game made our job harder!
