    Yes you are right....No humidity.

Monday could be a different story against UAE but for now the forecast for Monday in Brisbane is 32 degrees with 80% chance of rain. Pretty humid but rain and a not so great pitch will definitely aid Iran.

Davidson is a left back though, isn't he? And Herd is too short?

How many of your players today were in your ideal lineup?
I thought your level was much higher when you played Q8 or Oman.
Regular starting 11 was missing the following players from the last 2 games and are guaranteed starters. Some came on with 20 minutes to go but couldn't get the goal.

        Jedinak (MF and Captain injured)
        Cahill (FW rested)
        Kruse (FW rested)
Bresciano (MF and vice captain rested but not match fit)
        Oar (MF rested)
        Leckie (MF/FW rested)

So only 5 today were in the regular ist 11. The guys who started in their place are pushing for their positions and the coach gave them some match time and they did alright.

Left back has always been an issue with AUS and usually they play a fast defensive midfielder at left back. I wont be surprised if Matt McKay who played tonight gets the job. Davidson can play anywhere and Herd is tall enough but he is no Spiranovic that man is very under-rated. Sometimes they play 2 central fullbacks wing 2 wingbacks covering the right and left back. Behich can also play in either left or right back as well freeing up a more attacking spot to play Bresciano even though not at 100% fitness as Luongo who was his replacement is playing quite well.

Korea did themselves and US a great favor by topping their group. Now If we top our group not only do we avoid Japan in the QF and the Aussies in semi but we will have the luxury of facing either Aussies or Japan on our road to the trophy. Not Both.

Korea played probably the best game they are likely to play tonight and were pushed around most of the time by pretty much an Australian B-side. Iran should beat them especially with some support in the stands.

^ I much rather us play Korea in the Semi because:

                    1) Aussies are playing at home and can be hard to beat.
                    2) CQ knows the Koreans very well and can defeat them again.

That is the game everyone wants here because of the history. No-one puts on a show like the aussie fans in Sydney for a big match and ive been to Old Trafford and Wembley and it doesn't match the atmosphere. Its off the fucking charts imposing for the visitors.

Aussies are almost impossible to beat in Sydney its on another level. Korea don't have the team to win this they showed this tonight.

I coudn't disagree more with your post.

Sydney people put on a good show? Please don't make me laugh. There was only 50,000 of them present in an 80,000 stadium for a major International sporting match. I refer to Match Day 2 of AC2015.

and then to compare it with Wembley when England plays and the crowd doesnt stop singing for 90 minutes.

You need to watch more football man or maybe remember to take the tv off mute the next time Manchester is playing or there is a game at Wembley.

How is NOT having to play Japan AND Australia a poor result.
