Thread bump - games start in several hours.

With South Korea topping their group, who do you think can give them a harder time in the QFs?

Definitely Uzbekistan. South Koreas B team beat Saudi even with Nasser Al Shamrani playing. Uzbekistan can pass as well as Korea can and physically assert themselves

I think China has mathematically qualified first in the group

EDIT: China has 100% qualified first in their group

I'm really impressed with some individual performances of saudi players, but make too many mistakes playing as team.

Both will give SK a hard time but I'd give Uzbekistan the edge...they're more organized and more of a team than KSA. They always give top Asian teams a hard time as well (in particular Japan and Iran).

The Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia match is going to be an exciting one to watch.

Winner goes through, loser goes home. It's simple as that.

KSA and Uzbekistan will both come out and rely play counter attack football. Although I have to say KSA more than Uzbekistan, because on paper they are pretty much through if they draw the Uzbeks.

My prediction is that the Uzbeks will win this one 2-1. The Saudis will fall short once again.

Uzbek is going to beat the Saudis, and I think they will give SK a hard time in the next round... like a really hard time.

It is really weird to me that SK only has a GD of +3 in three games AND they beat the hosts Aussieland.

I hope these Uzbeks make the Saudis start packing their bags soon

Uzbekistan are a very unpredictable team, and from what i have seen their consistency is on and off but they are no push over for any team in Asia. I hope they win this game.

I think saudis will go through. Do not forget, if they score one, uzbeks must score two...uzbeks have more to lose playing every minute more attacking football. uzbeks must lead in the first 30 minutes or first half at least, to avoid uncontrolling game.

i also think saudis vs. korea will be a good match and harder for korea.

North Korea are officially the worst team of this tournament in my books. Even Palestine did better despite letting in many goals.

Uzbeks score less than 2 minutes! and the arabs have a shitty goalkeeper...
