Did you miss the part where I said I know good individuals from both Jewish and Arab sides?...The better question is do some here even think there is such a thing as a good Jew or Israeli.

The conduct of Palestinians during the Iran-Iraq war as well as during the 2009 protests are both very relevant here because we're constantly told it's wrong for us to not side with Palestine since we know what it's like to be mistreated. Well where was their sympathy when we were under hardship? Didn't they actually side with the ones responsible for our plight?

The Iranian stance on the Israel-Palestine issue is the ultimate case of 'kaaseye daaghtar az ash'. I don't wish harm on anyone necessarily, but I also won't lose sleep worrying about those who couldn't care less when bad things were happening to my people.

Ah sorry I missed the bold part. And I agree with you regarding the Iranian stand, I really don't have a stand in this issue either, I just feel sorry for the innocent people who are affected, whether they are Palestinians, Israelis or whatever.

        Well that devolved quickly.

Anyway, Isn't the first tiebreaker the head to head result? And Japan has already beat Iraq, so if Iraq wins, if Japan wins then Japan goes through as #1 and Iraq as #2. If Japan loses to jordan then Jordan goes through as #1 and Japan as #2 since the tiebreaker w Iraq would favor Japan. So if anything, Iraq should be hoping their "brothers" in Amman don't win.
