If you are not capable to see that TM played horrible you should just shut it and not criticize people for people that do see they play poorly.

      Thank you

The goal is to win. And we've won 3 out of 3. We're not Brazil, Spain etc... We're not capable of playing at their level. Sure in an open game we would probably still beat these lesser teams and it would be more exciting from a neutral prospective, but it's not going to help us win the ultimate goal. These games are tactical practice for the big showdowns in the next 2-3 games. Solid defense is the backbone to a championship team, not to mention it's helped the players conserve energy in the first three games (although Ando has been running his tail off).

what is the lessons out of this match for TM ?

1- we should not underestimate any team .
2- to avoid free and useless yellow cards which it cost us a lot.

what is the lessons for the PFDC members ?
1- to respect each others , regardless of their races , religions , country , or opinions.
2- don t tell lies to prove your opinions .

            regards,

            Global

It's an strategy that CQ decided to use with the pool of players available to him and it has actually worked!!

I don't think we have the skill level, physicality and fire power to dominate anymore.
We can attempt it, but it will surely result in conceding a goal!
The we'll be in an uphill and ugly battle against a bunch of time wasters!
By not conceding, we refuse to become slaves to their dirty tactics.

Do you think opening up and attacking against a team with Abdurahman in it is a good idea?
He dribbled three of our players in one instant in a very tight space!
Can you imagine the kind of havoc he would've caused if we gave him meters of space between our players??

This team is not the 1996-2002 TM.
These players would be benchwarmers for those guys at best!

It is mostly because Iran did not have enough worthy prep matches to test all tactics and for the newer players to get feedback/gel together. As an example, Japan has played friendlies with Uruguay, Venezuela and Brazil prior to the AC tournament. Iran in comparison scheduled a match with Palestine, and that was cancelled.

oh and btw, Rafiei was a bit invisible in the second half, but in the first half he had some very good passes forward.

preparation can be one reason but overall we can do a much better job playing "football" against minnows. we do not need to put so much pressure on our defenders against these teams.

if you hear the end, the commetator said iran is so hard to beat, cause we have good defense, i believe in the 3-4 years CQ has been iran coach, iran defense is become like the berlin wall, super good,we showed it in world cup and now,we will have chances to score and we did that

He looked scared to make a move for himself at times. He kept looking to dish the ball off to other players. He had an open shot but was to scared to go for it. He looked really capable in the Iraq game, though. Hopefully this game helped get some of the jitters out for him...

In the game of futbol - the W column is all I care about. Best teams win, even when they're not up to par.

Yes, not a pleasing performance to the eye, but they did their job.
                                Defending and attacking and winning!

Not having possession, good passing and combinations can be traced to too many things.
Quality of our players, preparations and friendlies.
PGL is not a good league, our players lack basic skills of passing and trapping the ball properly.
they haven't played together long enough to gel ....
