Also one thing we learned, Omar Abdulrahman is a sensational player and certainly isn't "overhyped",he deserves to play at a top club, most skillfull asian player since ak8. It hurts to admit, unfortanetly he plays on UAE

          Al Mahdi- UAE Coach:
""We didn't make any substitutions because we were doing well," he said. "We were playing good football and had many chances. That's why we made no changes."

Guys whats happening at the AC is world record by the way...there has never been a tournament with that many wins in a row without any draws

                Iran 1-0 Barcelona

Ive never seen a coaches tactics making a team undeservedly look so good in my life. Iran needed to win and queiroz let them pass the ball in their own field with ZERO press. If gucci didnt come clutch again this would be a bash party on cq and with good reason. But in the end if it ends in a championship I wont complain. Nonetheless completely unnecessary and embarrassing.

I am very concerned that we are playing worse and worse each game even tho we are wining those games.

CQ must do something about our ugly style of play specialy vs. likes of Japan and Australia

A lot of Emirates are ethnically Persian. Either way, they see themselves as 100% UAE, so they don't belong to us.

Not true, the Emiratis from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Umm al Quwain are ethnically bedouin arab.

The only Emirati's with persian heritage are those who migrated to Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah from the south of Iran(places like Bandar Lengeh, Qeshm, Boushehr, Bastak).

Matter of fact, had Dubai been the capital of the UAE, Iran and the UAE would be allies militarily and economically.

Abu Dhabi dictates foreign policy and the Al Nahyan family branches off from the same tribe as Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

We can also see why CQ prefers Masoud over Jahanbaksh. But this is valuable experience for Alireza, so it's OK.

                                POST-MATCH DISCUSSION | vs. UAE - Asian Cup 2015

What you have to see in these kind of matches and our WCQ in general, is that we HAVE NO PLAN B.
It only takes opponents to score a goal on us (god forbid), and only then we will see TM show big weaknesses and wholes in their game. Players will start panicking like vs Bosnia, and this, will be a very serious issue/possibility once we face much better finishers like Japan, Korea, Australia.

Can we really come back from conceding a goal? Are we capable? Queiroz's tactics only show a plan A and no plan B. Personally I just pray that our defense stays impenetrable until the final because this team does not know how to take control of matches even when we absolutely need the win and it's do or die (Bosnia/UAE)

Anyways we need go full force and focused vs Iraq to get the job done, because then from the semis anything can happen.
