I want to say something very very clearly!

We were soooo lucky that the line-referee was a very good referee or we were soon lucky that actually he is a japanese!!!

This was clearly NO OFFSIDE - this for sure, but we were soooo lucky that he really did not take up his stick. It was easy to take it up and call it offside because end of the match and easily could make the result a draw...

I thought in the first moment after the goal, okay, japanese referees...so they make us and themselves probably a favor with this result and give us the goal....but it was clearly no offside, so everything is really correct and good actually. Halal goal!!! But other referees could easily make wrong decision on this and call offside. i think other referee probably would have do this at all, because an easy draw would be okay for them.....

i clearly stopped video even a little bit later after ando kicked it, and even now in this picture it is not offside, che berese be hamun lahzeh ke be tup sarbe zad....

actually seeing this last picture, i must say line referee did very very good, because nekounam is in front of his eyes and the emirate last player behind him, so he could not very ver easily see this....good job if he really feel and see this is no offside.


post a picture of his face here in this thread and give him some credit. we always point out bad referring but today he rescued us too with his decision.

give him a PFDC PASS and golden SEKEH!!!!

Am I missing something? Everyone is talking about whether Gucci was offsides, which he obviously wasn't. I thought the question was whether Nekounam was involved in the play, since he did go for a header. And if he was, whether he was offsides. I think thats a much closer call.

I CAN HONESYTLY SAY THAT IF IT WAS AN ARAB REF, HE WOULD HAVE CALLED IT OFFSIDE , WITHOUT HESITATION!! It clearly wasn't, but a ref that is instructed to have Iran out would have called it! TM has suffered many trophies due to such close calls going the other way!!

I swear when I saw the goal I was expecting an offside call any second, so relieved it didnt happen

I knew it was a goal as soon as the cross was made as my stream was 30 seconds behind and I had already seen everyone on PFDC's game thread yelling goal.

if nekounam was offside (which to me looks like he was) then the goal should not have counted because he clearly interfered on the play even though gucci was clearly onside.
