They are carried to quarter finals. If someone gets their first yellow in quarters, it is then wiped and cleared for semis. But if you're already on a yellow and you get a yellow in the next round, you will miss semis

70.3. Any Participating Player who completes the Playoff Stage having cumulatively received one (1) caution shall not carry-over that caution to the Group Stage.

In the above document which is the official one for 2015 AC, its says nothing about yellow card regulation and in the disciplinary section refers to:

pg 48.
ARTICLE 11: DISCIPLINARY Disciplinary Measures
1. All disciplinary measures in relation to the Competition shall be undertaken in accordance with the current AFC Statutes, AFC Disciplinary Code, AFC Code of Ethics and any relevant AFC circular.

Also the AFC Code of Disciplinary (http://www.the-afc.com/sites/default...e_2014_new.pdf) which was referred to in the AC 2015 tournament regulation document also mentions nothing about yellow card and implications.

yep, the aussie commentators also confirmed that cards get wiped after quarters. nekounam in particular will have to be careful.
