For example in 78 seconds, UAE has 26 passes yet they barely got past Iran's half. Iran then intercepts and in 2 passes gets the ball to Azmoun for a good chance.

تيم ملي زيبا بازي کرد. آنها که از کي روش خوششان نمي آيد لطفا نتيجه کارهاي مثبت او را به خاطر اين فوتبال و به خاطر کشورمان صفر نشان ندهند.

Usually when something is being argued and the vast majority understands it there will always be a very small percentage of people who don't understand something and that's fine, but because you don't understand something doesn't make the majority pathetic, but rather the other way around. Doctor, here's another interesting stat for you to help explain our offensive woes in the last game:

Brisbane stadium hosted 6 games with an average of 1.33 goals/game - the lowest of any stadiums in the competition - presumably because of the heat and humidity and its super crappy surface.

Out of those 6 games, 5 of them ended with a 1-0 score - in fact only the China 2 - Uzbekistan 1 game had more goals. Neither Japan nor S. Korea nor Uzbekistan managed to score more than 1 goal in this stadium and Australia failed to score any - not to mention that Japan's goal was off a penalty!

Out of those 5, 1-0 games, 60% of the goals came in minute 77+ and one was not in open play (Japan's penalty). South Korea is the only team that scored and open play goal before minute 77 in those 1-0 results!

So, there are a lot of factors that we may not be paying attention to - it's hard to tell how hot and humid it is from just watching the game on a screen, or how badly a crappy surface would affect a team's performance.

Italy won the World Cup 2006 totally with a complete defensive footballing tactic. They barely and unfairly made it through to the next round by the ref's terrible mistake, thus getting poor Australia eliminated so unfairly where they got robbed big time by the ref!
