As long as Japan draw Jordan we are in good shape. Jordan is going to come out full force against Japan and has beaten them in recent years so they might be able to make it interesting. I predict a 1-1 draw here or a narrow 2-1 win for the Japanese.
    Team Meli Iran
    Perspolis FC
    Malavan Bandar Anzali

Arguably the most boring group in the tournament.

Interestingly I was visiting an Iraqi forum a few days ago and several members believe Iran's group is the most boring group.

These Iraqis are delusional. Now they are mocking us. They don't remember their A side lost to Iran B this month.
Yeah Iran fans are talking now like they owned the game, hate that
If we face Iran we have to attack them with full speed, via possesion, step by step. This is how UAE dominated and nearly won the game.
Tbh after watching that game I think it's better that we get to play Iran they are weaker than UAE
Yeah defiantly Iran rather than UAE ... UAE was controlling the whole game , we wouldn't stand a chance.
If we attack them, they will be vulnerable. They can not do anything but clear the ball, we have to attack 90 min full stop

^ Now we will beat them and they will blame their loss on the wind. They will say they dominated but the wind seriously troubled their play, they would have won the match

                          .

its always a good thing when your opponent underestimates you.
But these are just a bunch of kids watching probbaly their first or second Asian Cup. I doubt the Iraqi players and officials would prefer Iran over UAE.
In fact, Iraqis play a strong physical game, and UAE will suit them more as teams like UAE will have trouble against Iraqi style teams.

Also most coaches hate playing defensive and counter attack orientated teams and try to avoid....

anyway, let those kids have some fun guys....!

and please dont go to their forums starting a fight with them. we dont need that!!!
let them just enjoy themselves over there!
