Told you - this guy is such a troll.

Anyway, let our game on the pitch do the talking. But no doubt Iraqis hate us the most out of any Arabs.

guys, I've been thinking and I'm glad we're both in the same bracket and won't have to see another Australia vs Japan final again. I hate those 2 teams with a passion. They think they're the shit when they got their asses fucked in the WC. It's more than likely that Iran will beat Korea in the semis and I'm glad it's you guys who will beat us. I'll be rooting for you guys in the final vs Japan/Australia.

But these are just a bunch of kids watching probbaly their first or second Asian Cup. I doubt the Iraqi players and officials would prefer Iran over UAE.
In fact, Iraqis play a strong physical game, and UAE will suit them more as teams like UAE will have trouble against Iraqi style teams.

Also most coaches hate playing defensive and counter attack orientated teams and try to avoid....

anyway, let those kids have some fun guys....!

and please dont go to their forums starting a fight with them. we dont need that!!!
let them just enjoy themselves over there!
Agreed amoo jaan, as a matter of fact on the same site and in a different thread most Iraqi members had expressed their reluctance and wishes not to play Iran as some believed Iran has a bad omen on their team, thus losing all their official games for the past decade to Iran, however some I believe younger and more sentimental members upon Iran's dismal performance against UAE had a change of heart hoping to face Iran, as they thought UAE is too dangerous to play against.

Well this notion is due to UAE's possession factor, something that even some of our very own PFDCers believed because of their possession superiority they deserved to win and beat us, though what I don't understand is their flawed logic, when a team holds possession for the most part, yet does not manage to create one single shot on goal throughout the game, how on earth one can claim they deserved to win, while the other team with less possession had 4-5 shots on goal and created more scoring chances? I am puzzled!

Interesting... So UAE "dominated and nearly won the game" without even 1 shot on target or any clear cut chance. They must be good then. I'd like to have what Iraqi members smoke as well it sounds really... effective.

yeah, it was a bad decision. asian refs suck.

Edit: Japan scored 1-0 (actually 2-0)

That's always the case with them though, solid defence, absolute nothing in attack. Given the strength of our defence, I'd be surprised if they so much as had a chance let alone a goal. Their best bet is to play for the penalties.

So Iran will pretty much 100% face iraq now and our hopes of going to the semis are really high

Palestine could still get 6 goals and qualify, I think
