There is o such thing as "We will sure win" not even against the weakest team. Mind you, Iran almost held Argentina to a goalless draw till the 90th minute, hell we almost beat them, we had damn better scoring opportunities to that extensions that all my non Iranian friends for weeks kept telling me "Damn man, you guys deserved to win and beat Argentina" now who in their right mind prior to that match would have remotely thought of an easy win by Argentina, people were bidding on whether or not Argentina will score more than 5 or less...
Iraq has never been an easy task for us, yes over the past decade we have won all our official encounters with them, but have we beaten them at ease and with no problem? absolutely not, most of ours wins have been a small 1-2 margin victories. So please lower your expectations, to save yourselves any possible disappointments, be it caused by bad performance, low ball possession, late winner goal, or even God forbid an unfortunate loss. Life goes on no matter what!
Having said all that, I believe on paper we will and we should won, but again nothing is guaranteed. Always hope for the best and prepare for the worst!
It will be a tough game and they are up for the challenge - their hatred of Iranians will mean they will fight. We must do what we need to do - no game at this point is easy.

(Now someone on PFDC with low self-esteem will create a false account go there and write fuck persian to justify his own racism) Yeah remove the iraqi forum xD i have actually been a member there for years but i know some people on PFDC have no lives and would do something idiotic like that lol. They are actually nice guys over there and have solid discussions like we do here! :P with their own stock of bad apples.
Anyways I expect a penalty shootout. Cause the game will end 1-1 in normal time. Younis Mahmoud will return from the grave and score over the dead body of Enayati

People don't understand that Iraq is no longer what they used to be. They are now a 2nd/3rd tier team and should be grouped with Qatar Bahrain etc... Their squad is weak, 90% of them wouldn't make it in the IPL, and this game shouldn't be tough. It is crazy to say that it will be a tough match by comparing it with all our previous encounters with their golden generations (that we always defeated anyhow).
We should win, no excuses. Now that we topped the group it's the easiest QF encounter we had in years and years. A weak lineup with Ghotbi defeated most of their stars in 2011 where they were "defending champions", now that they have a 2nd tier team there can be no more excuses. We beat them with our B team, couple of 0 cappers and Ansarifard as captain FFS. Stop with the excuses. CQ has failed if he does not win this convincingly.

All kidding aside, most Iraqi women I have seen haven't been even nearly as hot as most Iranians, I guess it's a matter of taste.

We are also the more experienced side and we are and will be better rested. The stats are also on our side, so one would expect us to be the favorites here.
I guess the goal margin will come down to how willing we are to press/attack in order to create chances and how well or how soon we convert those chances.
Personally, I'd like to see a little more zest in our attacks than in the UAE game. IF we play like we did against Bahrain, 2-0 is a very realistic scoreline.
