I'm proud of Team Melli! They played very well with a man down and they deserved to win! but penalties are always luck and our tm came back twice!
I don't blame CQ or the players who missed the penalties, I congratulate Mr Williams for his efforts and achievements to destroy Iran's match, so not Iraq won this quarter final, it was Mr. Williams!

I'm very heart broken but at the same time I couldn't be any more proud of tm. Gheyrat irooni ro neshoon dadan vaghean va ta daghigheye akhar zahmat keshidan. I fucking knew hajsafi would miss his pen, could read that shit on him from the start. I have no words for this game. Emotional roller coaster is an understatement. Proud of our boys for showing what it means to have gheyrat and passion. It's a shame it had to end at the hands of luck and poor officiating. The Koreans would have had it coming for them in the semis. Oh well, no means in pouting. These lads gave us one hell of a tournament. Now, as per usual, to build up for the next big one. A lot of young talent shined and I hope it payed off for Azmoun. In the end it's just a piece of silverware and pointless pride.

I began booking our flights and tickets for the Sydney match vs Korea after our goal and our absolute dominance and called work and took time off.
The ref was disgustingly biased throughout the game.
He didn't make a single decision in our favour unless he absolutely had to.
This guy should never ever be allowed to step on a football pitch, not even as a ball boy.
He was my biggest fear before the match even started not Iraq. So very devastated.
