Can people explain why the obsession with not having new threads? Important information often gets lost in threads such as TM News with 470 pages. People are "scared" of opening a thread because a barrage of comments will follow about "wasting" a thread. Come on guys, get over it, this is a discussion board and we don't always need to stay on the first page in order to read relevant info.

I think it's more like, don't open four separate threads on the FIFA scandal or some guy waving a turkish flag at a Tractor match.

If there is already a thread on the subject, what's the point of opening a new one up.
