Actually the rule ought to be those teams that did not progress can have their referees officiate the following rounds' games.

Having a ref from a remaining and contesting nation could affect the officiating, number and color of cards, ... etc. Or at least suspicions about any and many of his whistles.

I'd have liked to see other refs from Uzbekistan or china or ... officiate our game than an Aussie, whose team still contests.
Same thing for Faghani in Japan's game, btw

I wish cq wouldn't critcize Ben William. Now he is gonna take revenge on us. I also said it few years ago, Ben William is very personal and he can ruin a match with red cards and wrong penalties just because he doesn't like someone.
