Do we want to continue playing like this?

I'm very very disappointed in the result like all of you, but I'm already looking to the future. The way we play is outrageous, and I can confidently say we have regressed since the World Cup. I don't like hearing the lack of prep excuse, because weak sides have given us trouble in this tournament. Vaghan sharmavar bood in bazi, and our performance in the past 4 games has been disgraceful.
CQ needs to change his tactics, because playing defensively wont get us any where in asia.
    EDIT:
I'm reading that Iran played well, but we actually did not. This is not emotion speaking, I'm disappointed but calm. We do well in the air, but can't keep a ball down for more then 15 seconds. I hate to say it, but at least there is 1 member who is always spot on with his TM analysis, Doctor Doom.
Well, I'm not saying we won't get to the WC, but it might be embarrassing if we can't find a new tactic.
We can blame the ref, but pooladi was fucking stupid to dive like an arab. We can blame the players, but its not their fault that the system they play under is completely disregarding of attacking football. We must change...

You're a swinger - go watch the UAE Japan game. UAE is in the lead

Bad things happen - it's football. you won't always win. but you will play your heart out and show character.

dude everytime iran win there is a good thread, we lose a bad thread, seriously,we were good today, we played 10 men for one hour, what else we can do,if that stupid pooladi had not been so foolish to get a card we would have not struggled , but i think the tactic was good, but his tactic got stretched alot and he could not do anything about it

I for one have supported CQ, but have been critical of him as well. He has let us down this AC. Iran was outplayed completely in 2 of our 4 games. The others were iffy as well. All in all, congrats to Iraq because they played superior football.

The way Iran plays wont win tournaments but will win tight games. TM played very well today and got screwed by the ref but in fairness Pooladi was acting because he thought the penalty was going his way. That's why you don't fuck around and be a professional at ALL times because karma is a bitch.

Iran was robbed from the semi-finals. Iraq doesn't deserve to be in the semi-finals.referee has a lot of questions to answer. and as i have always said and will stay say #‎arabscantplayfootball‬ stick to camel racing and you won't even need camels to race just go on the field and run and there will be camels on the track. anyone who thinks iraq deserved to win needs shooting.. iran played really well with 10 men. and we were robbed. i do not blame carlos his been superb and anyone who cant see that is blind.
Well I been away for a while!!!

Iran was in cruise control in the first half until Pouladi received the second yellow. We played over 75 minutes with a man down and yet came back from behind twice. The piss-poor refereeing has 2004 flashing in front of my eyes over again.

As for CQ, I am fully behind him.

Man believe me the tacts were all good and CQ is a very professional coach. After leading 1-0 we would've 100% won the match again if it wasn't for that red card.

Carlos was 1 nil up and was unable to coach his way to victory. The team was disjointed and he couldn't pull it together because he couldn't put the red card out his mind. The fact some players had to man handle him into the dugouts to control him says the guy is not a professional and it showed with his lack of ability to shut the game out.

                            1) playing with one striker against a weak iraq
                            2) scoring a goal and parking the buss attitude- as allways
                            3) lat bazi bazikona, Pooladi

Khare khorma rin indafe komakemoon nakard.

I am not sad to have lost for many many reasons.

Teams which deserve to win, should win the cup, we dont deserv the cup yet.

We dont have tha players to play otherwise.
We could dominat the game more. But it wouldent turn into anything.

When you se Japan, their players have a first touch, dribling and movement our players lack.

Since 2006 we havent got any possesion kind of midfielder specialy in central of the field (when Zandi didnt play).
in 2006 we had at least Karimi who could keep the ball.

Today almost 10 years after we have the same central midfielders. One Anchor and one hard working player.

in 2006 we had more pace and flair likes of Mahdavikia, Karimi, younger Shojaei ore Zandi.

When you have this kind of team, you use 11 hardworkers, train them well in camps and count on the team.

If we want other style, we have to start to produce some other kind of players.
