The game is over and all the if's and maybe and whys will not change a thing, some of these players who are retiring dissevered a final chances of glory. The ref sucked but, we have to blame ourselves too, pouladi could have avoided the red card. CQ could have played a different formation. We should have had Gucci in much earlier and many more things that effected the game as much as the sending off, we lost to a team that would have never though they could beat us on a fair day.

We have the WCQ to start worrying about soon and I really hope we put this behind us soon, we have some exciting players that have come through in this tournament which is the positive aspect of playing a few competitive games.

C'mon the only time we were attacking like crazy was when we were behind. Both times we managed to score.

That's my point. CQ tactics are too conservative. He's built a fantastic team with potential yet he's not using it to full extent.

From what I saw today and generally in this tournament, we the have potential to kill off games much earlier if we play like were behind.

CQ tactic is to play deep and defensive and just wait for set pieces to score.

When we went 10 men down, and Iraq scored (56minute), it was clear CQ plan was to play for penalties!!!!

Then we went 2:1 down and thats when Iran woke up and "attacked like crazy".

Lets face facts, we will get fucked every now and then, but against weaker oppositions Iran HAS to finish games off decisively.
