Will not change anything but we can officialy report on our open letter and send it to as much sports magazines and papers as possible.
Some will ignore them, some might mention them.
it will make some noise! But thats it I am afraid!
But Iran?
I seriously doubt we'd get any hearing. Hell, we'd be lucky of they don't say ''Good. serves them right''.
We must understand when we step outside Iran, we're never on equal footing with anyone.
Maybe against a' Qaeda or ISIS candidates, we may get some attention. But that's about it.
Now, it is up to us to consider and take into account this ''handicap'' when we take part n any sporting event. And put in that extra effort to at least bring us on level and equal footing. In other words, we step onto games thinking we're already 1-0 down, to put it simply

If we had a caring, nationalistic regime in power these small countries wouldn't dare to screw Iran. Good old 1970s. An Iranian was the head of AFC, another one number of 2 of Asian Olympic organisation. No one dared to mess with us. Now we have the circus man Kaffashian in power who can't do anything other than laughing his ass off.

I am afraid this is a losing battle. Nobody in the world cares because of the Akhund regime has given a terrorist image to all Iranians around the world.
This is the third AC since the revolution where we were clearly the best team of the tournament and deserved the trophy. And each time ended the same way with AFC/REFFS robbing us blind.
Only way out is to over throw this filthy regime.

When you have such a deadly combination, you can be sure your citizens and various ventures outside your country receive very little support and actually get more enmity than usual.
Iran (Islamic Republic or not) neither backs terrorism nor produces any terrorists. In fact Iran has been suffering from terrorism directed against Iran!
The crazy "Iranian" who commited an actual act of terrorism in Australia was an extremely unusual case. He was a wanted criminal in Iran; Iran warned Australia about him and requested his extradition from Australia so he can be jailed and prosecuted in Iran.
Australia refused and actually tried to use him in an anti-Iran media campaign reg. free speech (ROTFLOL) and ultimately paid the price for their own stupid anti-Iran behaviour. The guy was a crazy criminal and in no way reflects Iranians, nor even the current regime.
I'm disgusted by your post!

The problem is we don't have ultra rich Iranians who could step in and independent of Iranian government influence matters. Arabs have this ability, also Russians. If we could get an Iranian to truly invest in Iranian sports and harvest our athletes in globally influential games then the issue will be resolved regardless of how incompetent Iranian federations are.
If we have famous international players then referees like Ben Williams think twice before making decisions against them. The trick is to find Iranians who would contribute.Team faghat PERSPOLIS
