Benjamin Williams at 1:25: "We want to do the best that we possibly can. This is what the game deserves, this is what the teams deserve, it's for our performance to be the best that we possibly can.
We don't want the focus to be on the referees. We want the focus to be on the teams."
Somewhat haunting as the focus has been on nothing but him and his fellow referees this whole tournament.
He's done a great disservice to himself and every other referee. He ruined a game of football to boost his own ego. I, and I hope no Iranian, will ever forgive his disgusting behavior.

I am just tired of it. Do we have to accept it and live with the fact this corrupt confederation will screw us over or is there anything we can do to change it?
Ideas welcome.
If we do our job correctly and are enought strong none can do shit against us dude.
some exemple:
- 2001 world cup vs Bahrain : In tehran with our best ever legends we had to take on this crappy Bahrain team. i remember team melli played like shit and had a draw vs Bahrain in tehran. if we won that game we qualified to the world cup 2002 before the last day in Bahrain......
-2004 asian cup semi final vs china : a childish and brainless act by Zareh pushing the Chinese guy and get a red card..why that moron did that? we will never know...
- today's game : we have a good team....we dominate Iraq easily....Why Mr Pooladi goes for a contact with Iraqi's goalkeeper this despite having already a yellow card??? we will never know....
Am not telling it wasn't the referee's fault today , but now we all know the world is vs us ok?? so why we act like idiots? what we want to prove ? if you are stronger team why the hell put yourself in trouble???

We can start by pulling out of Iraq and letting them deal with ISIS on their own!
First there was Palestine cancelling the friendly, now it's Iraq with their unsportsmanlike conduct. If Syria and Yemen were in a position to screw us over, you can rest assured they would as well.
We're helping people and countries that absolutely hate us. In a way, this is our own fault.

1.Move to UEFA if possible.
2.Launch initiative to create a new federation. split up AFC and create something like Arab Federation with the North Africans and other arabs forming one seperate federation. the rest remain as AFC
3.asking our government to start targeted assassinations of biased referees and everyone who is mistreating us (maybe at least here they could help us)
Nr 3 is to be considered with a grim sense of humor
Being part of UEFA would make it more difficult to qualify for the World Cup because of the number of good teams in Europe. Iran should just gain more experience with good European and South American teams through friendly games. Have less friendlies with other Asian teams. When Asian teams become good teams would be the time when friendlies with them become valuable. Right now, I think learning how to score against 11 opponents on front of the goal is the only thing that the better Asian teams would learn in Asia.

Focus on youth development. Make it a requirement that if you receive a European offer that is at leasst 50% of your current salary you must accept it for a year or you cannot be invited to TM. Also ban players from supporting development of or playing in Persian Gulf leagues.
