    TO DO LIST FOR IFF:

    (1) Keep CQ

    (2) Focus on WCQ 100%

    (3) Create an incentive for players to join top LEAGUES (the incentive isn't there for TM players as we all know).

    (3) Increase number of friendlies with non-asian teams

    (4) SEND B TEAM TO ALL CUPS & COMP APART FROM WCQ.

    (5) Try to further establish the CENTRAL ASIAN FEDERATION (Afghanistan, Uzbek etc) Invite foreign countries (outside asia) to join when cups are held.

I am just tired of it. Do we have to accept it and live with the fact this corrupt confederation will screw us over or is there anything we can do to change it?
        Ideas welcome.
To some extend we are to be blamed for the lack of alertness and mental preparation. Our players have shown that they can easily become the victim of their own emotions. I never forget 2014 and the silly act of Zareh who cost us a place in the finals.

This is of course no justification for poor and biased referring today.

Exactly Cage jaan.. we are an emotional nation and not a nation who thrives with actions and things that need to be done. the outcome is the Islamic Republic of Iran, the lone religious tyranny on the face of planet, oh wait I forgot about Islamic State in Iraq, but that is yet to be official....

the most realistic solution is to BUY SOME INFLUENCE INTO AFC AGAIN..!!

We have NO current representatives in there because We are Not willing to Pony up the required Entry Fees and Playing the Political Backhanding and siasi games required to become a more influential member there..!!

WITHOUT AFC INFLUENCE , it always gonna be an uphill and most likely failing battle trying to advance our football in this confederation..!!

                      TRUE

However, I will not expect a lot as I bet, it is not going to happen ... Iranian federation lacks confidence and discipline.. there are people who cannot even say "How are you"...

Another solution is what I decided and I am going to act on it religiously:

I will quit following any Asian competitions of any kind...

I only follow Iranian League from this moment and our international (out of AFC) encounters... I made this promise, make it my new year resolution and shall be called Sakineh if I ever breaking this promise (until Iran is either out AFC or the corruption has been addressed officially by FIFA)

for those suggesting writing to fifa.. you do realize that fifa awarded the world cups to russia and qatar despite insane amounts of bribery scandal, human rights violations, people dying in qatar in construction, etc. like they would see iran on the cover of the envelope and not even open it..

If they accept Iran they should accept every Asian country. Many more will apply

You're correct that when a country has plenty of resources at our disposal to effect a change, then they can successfully do so.
But Iran's case is not a normal one. Whether we like it or not, politics on this day and age influence a lot and impact areas that weren't previously related to it.
When you are a parriah country, your influence on various world bodies is diminished. Your candidates don't really reach high enough in various international organizations. Your word bears little weight. Your objections and grievances receive fewer ears and attention. You get the drift.

Now, top the above complications with destructive behavior such as backing of terrorism, and worse, actual acts of terrorism (recent case on Australia itself), ...etc.
When you have such a deadly combination, you can be sure your citizens and various ventures outside your country receive very little support and actually get more enmity than usual.

When we don't have influential officials in AFC and its committees, when we don't support them (overtly and covertly with money like Arab nations), ... then we can't expect any love from them.
Even of you had highly competent candidates (which we certainly DO NOT), they wouldn't get nominations and votes for the more crucial and important posts on international organs. Let alone our bunch of uneducated, ill behaved, clueless buffoons who don't know the ABC of international intercourse.

The only way arabs (not all arabs, Im mainly talking about those across the Persian Gulf) will learn to behave is if you put a boot on their heads and threaten to crush it, in case they in any way misbehave.

We can apply this rule to all situations including institutions like AFC. If they feel they want to cheat Iran, then there must be a heavy cost to it.
Unfortunately Iran has no influnce in AFC, so they dont feel any such pressure. They are undeterred to go about their cheating ways.
I mean if they can get FIFA to award Qatar (barely a country) to host the World Cup, then that tells us that there is something wrong with the wider picture...

I dont think we Iranians in the diaspora (and certainly not those in Iran) can do anything to change the equation. We can write all sort of complaints to FIFA, but it will fall on deaf ears.
