    Kudos to the boys

You know what, f%$k the result, f$#k Williams and f$%k the AFC. This was our game and those Iraqi mother%$^ couldn't beat us with an extra man in more than 70 minutes of play.

We can focus on the negatives of this game all we want, but as far as I'm concerned the boys put in 110% in that heat and humidity with one man down for 70 minutes, scoring two goals.

I'm proud of them and to me they're the champions regardless of a couple of missed penalties after all that bullshit. If it wasn't for losing in penalties, this game had all the elements of being one of the GREATEST TM games of all time.

Thank you boys for making us proud. I know you must be feeling even more heart-broken than us fans after putting everything into this game.

We love you and will always support you.

Agreed. To be fair, their was a lot of talk about judging CQ after these finals, but that should be put aside. The team played heart. Cq, fans, TM were robbed...end of story!

The Iraqis were the benefactors of horrendous refereeing decisions, but let's not get carried away and insult an entire nation. I don't think they asked for this.

I agree, never seen TM play with such heart and determination before. Usually our players break down so fast.

People kept saying that CQ doesn't have plan B if Iran concedes a goal but as you witnessed today we were behind twice and our boys managed to pull it together and we had a great come back. I'm proud of our boys. It's penalty shoot outs and anyone can win.

BTW guys, apparently AFC tried to give an award to CQ after the game and he refused it! He said they should give it to the refs instead!

Kudos to him for that too

I don't know about you guys, but for a 32 year old with no club, Younis Mahmoud sure thinks he's a legend...couldn't stand watching him and his attitude on the pitch.

The fact that the guys were able to score those two goals in extra time speaks volume-- dameshoon garm.

                  BREAKING:

According to the vice-head of the Iranian anti doping agency (Dr. Ramin Tabatabaei), Alaa Abdul-Zahra failed drug testing in Iran when he was in Teraktor! By the time the tests came back he was playing for Al-Shorta, so the results were passed to FIFA's medical group to be pursued through the Iraqi Football Federation.

As a result of these tests, he was supposed to receive a suspension of at least 6 months up to 2 years. On that note, another letter was sent to FIFA prior to the Iran-Iraq match, but Zahra played in the quarterfinal anyway!

Kaffashian has been given all the documentation to share with AFC's medical group and they will be asking the Iraqi Football Federation about this within the next 48 hours.

Tabatabaei added the FIFA rules about this particular substance are strict enough to potentially throw Iraq out of the tournament!

Yeah they did exactly ask for this, when they first urged the ref to give a yellow card to Pouladi then chased the ref to remind him that it was Pouladis second yellow to get him sent off. Also when there disgusting, crack smoking lookalike M*****F***** attacker (Younis) tried his best to create trouble (hashiye) every time they were leading just to take away our boys focus from scoring the equalizers. Iraqis are coward arabs that cheat there way through life, like all the other arabs in the world, that's pure and true arab culture and mentality, coward pussys who NEVER, EVER deserve respect from anyone, plain and simple! Fukk them all.
