AFC are sort of screwed...
Disqualifying Iraq is majority embarrassing for them and the legitimacy of the cup
Letting Iraq off the hook basically means they're condoning what is essentially cheating
Banning Iraq for the next game and handing Korea a free win is hugely unfair to Australia/Uae
What do they do??

answer: follow the fifa rules!
= eliminate Iraq 0:3, and Iran plays S Korea as per FIFA regulation!
thats what they do, follow the law!CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php

@minirum I think the only way they can save face is to say that the player and Iraqi FA were never notified because FIFA never officially banned the player. So, even though the player tested positive, he is not officially banned until such a ban is put in effect by the governing body. I can't see any other way out of this for the AFC, assuming that the player was indeed officially banned from participating in any games.
