A rematch or Iraq disqualification will have sever political fall out. This cannot and will not happen. There are things bigger than soccer for both countries. Iranians will kick their wounds, get into soome internal bickering about who is a better chance h, fire CQ, debate Iranian vs European coach, etc etc.

The bottom line is that this would be another page in the ever bitter chapters of Iranian football and politics. So let's move on.

Yeh I said this before. It will be unprecedented and have big issues towards logistics, ticketing, marketing and lets not forget TV rights. I can see AFC is probably trying to do the right thing here. If I were them (as a neutral) I would do this:

1. Life time ban on the player
2. Iran to be recorded with the win 3-0 but Iraq gets to play in the semi-final

Its sad. Very sad. But unfortunately its the only logical thing at such late notice. This way we get a little face and respect.

ok this is a serious question and I am not sure if anyone else has had this issue before. I am living in the states and all of a sudden in the past 9 months or so I cannot connect to any sites which end in .ir from my house. It is not just one computer or 2... anyone who comes to our house and connects to our wifi has the same issue. Any suggestions? Thanks.
