BREAKING: Iraq Doping Scandal

The amount of negativity in this thread from "supposed" TM fans is mind boggling!
First of all, I reported this NEWS immediately after it was published to insure that it gets maximum exposure here and TM fans can spread it around in anyway that they could.
Someone, I don't know who, added the word "Rumor" to the thread tittle and because of that this thread got VERY little attention during some VERY precious and important hours at the beginning. Something is NOT a rumor when it's being reported by an official in charge of an issue!
Then the same people who're always complaining about IFF not doing enough and Arabs sticking together against Iran, blah blah blah, did not put in as little effort as to tweet this news or post it on their FB or IG pages.
Instead of taking some action, any action, and sticking together in the face of this GREAT INJUSTICE, the usual negativity of that little dude from Gulliver's travels of "man midoonam movaffagh nemisheem" prevailed for another 18 hours or so!
At this point, it doesn't matter what AFC decides, but what matters is that hopefully we've learnt to stick together in the face of adversary and do our share as TM fans, however small it may be, instead of doing absolutely nothing other than complaining that IFF does nothing or our enemies stick together against us.
My hats off to those few TRUE TM fans who showed their true face and kept the hopes and positive vibes alive from the very start: Aminggp3, Tehranto, Eerooni, Persian8Iran, MR.S, Allan123 and the other members who kept the discussion going and showed interest despite some skepticism: onebloodfool, Kiarash, Camran_khan, Zandi_joon, etc.
Also hats off to all those who finally came on board and have done everything they could in the past few hours, that are fortunately too many to name. That's VERY encouraging and I hope your hard work will pay off.

Even though I was sceptic I did everything in my power to spread the news around and expose the story. I sent emails to major media outlets.

There's doesn't seem a great deal of worry coming from the Iraqis over this on their forums and given it's still largely just Iranian media reporting the matter, I'm not greatly optimistic of whether the case is as serious as we're making out.
Also, whilst reading the Iraqi forums, it seems the player in question has come out and said there's no issue with his eligibility for the Asian Cup. Arab readers might be able to make more sense of it than I have using google translate:

We all need to tweet, facebook etc this, especially towards AFC. Social media is powerful, brings accountability where there might not be.

This guy Zahra Folan shodeh- he's talking about everything except if he did it, do you admit it or not?
if its true that Australians are looking suspiciously at him, at least all this efforts are getting somewhere. Even if AFC let them play SK, this can help lose Iraq focus for next game.sigpic

Whoever thinks this Arab will admit to doping is crazy. Let them be confident. It will be a greater shock to them. Iranian federation is less likely to make shit up than an individual player that is likely already suspended. They're dumb if they haven't figured that out. Our federation would get raped if we made up these allegations. What is the Iraqi player to lose? Will already be banned for 2 years...
