If FIFA ruled the player ineligible, it will likely be a 50/50 decision. I think they will go out of their way to find a loophole, but if they can't, they will be forced to give us the win, or face the international sporting court. That will result in heavy fine and bad publicity for an already hurting FIFA after the WC 2022 debacle.

I feel like there is a possibility. FIFA will weigh the pros and cons, and if it makes more sense for their interests, we will win. If it doesn't, they will find a way to let Iraq keep that tainted victory.
