به گزارش خبرگزاری خبرآنلاین ؛ مسئولان ای اف سی در تماسی با مهدی محمد نبی دبیرکل فدراسیون ایران و سرپرست تیم اعزامی به استرالیا از او و هوشنگ مقدس نمایندگان ایران خواستند تا ساعت 15 به وقت سیدنی در نشست کمیته حقوقی ای اف سی حاضر باشند. همچنین آنها از مدیران فدراسیون فوتبال عراق هم دعوت کردند به این جلسه بروند تا رای قطعی درباره این اتفاق صادر شود. نبی و مقدس که همراه با کاروان تیم ملی عازم سیدنی بودند ، سوار بر خودرویی شخصی خود را به مقر برگزاری بازی ها می رسانند تا در این نشست حاضر شوند. هرچه این دو به موفقیت تیم ملی امید دارند ، ملی پوشان شانس زیادی برای تغییر حکم قائل نیستند.

Since FIFA and courts are involved here, AFC must make the just decision. So if IFF papers are they way they say it is then the verdict should be in favor of TM, no matter what. if the decision goes to our favor they may move the Iran game one day up.Comment

If AFC rules against us, they can be sure that ESPN, Fox Sports and AP will hear about how Iraq eliminated Iran from Olympic contention in the exact same situation of playing an ineligible player, but a team of Arabs was given a free pass by fellow Arabs.
