It's funny how in the exact opposite situation, AFC and FIFA were quick to eliminate Iran, but in this case, they will dilly-dally and play with their doodools in order to avoid helping Iran.

F*ck FIFA and AFC. I don't believe they have a soul. If Iran were Arab and could make FIFA more money (hence, if Qatar was in our situation) the ban would be immediate.

IFF must now act quickly and make a lot of noise via press releases and as much as noise as possible to FIFA!!!

In that case, Iran would play Jordan in a new Quarter Final. This is only fair and square.

Logistically it would be VERY hard to reverse the decision if something doesnt change in the next 12-16 hours. I hate to say it but I think two things will likely happen:

1. Iraqis will get fined. Player in question will get suspended. They will go on to play Korea.

OR

2. Iraq and Iran both eliminated. Iraq gets the above penalty. Korea to get a free pass through to the final.

At the end of the day this guy playing had minimal impact on our game yday but passions are running high.
