Realistically speaking, the chance of the result getting overturned is less than 5%. It all depends on whether the Iraqi Federation was issued a notice of suspension. If not, then we have no case here really, AFC screwed up as usual. Why would they issue the player a pass to participate in the tournament i.e Tournament card, if he was suspended or if they knew he was suspended.
The squads were sent to AFC a while before the tournament started.
My only hope is that AFC is neutral and decides to replay the game, which again is very doubtful.
I am usually as optimistic as you guys, but here- we really have no case unless something shows up that we haven't uncovered.
