In this case he moved too close to the Iraqi goal keeper so that his legs were hovering over the keeper's head, essentially putting himself in the suspicious spot. Then follows his acting out by taking a big dive as soon as the Iraqi guy touches him, as if he watched that 2004 Chinese defender way too many times. He acted as if he was guilty, instead of standing up and talking to the ref in English explaining his case. This guy was in the Brazil World Cup 7 months ago and yesterday acted like a complete amateur. The whole scene made me think I was watching a bunch of boys in junior high school playing ball, not grown men in a national soccer game.
He's one of our best players and the stand out player in Brazil.
