Benjamin Williams' Facebook Under Attack By Iranians
Before opening this thread I searched to see if anybody else posted this earlier, but couldn't find anything, so in case there is another thread about this, please close this and accept my apologies.
Iranians are once again at it and this time they have been bombarding this Australian's facebook. If this is his real facebook, then I feel totally ashamed to have countrymen like these thugs. What has become of our country? Did we turn into savages? These thugs are the cyber version of the likes of ISIS and Al-Qaeda etc.
Will every single unfortunate and unpopular outcome of international events for us be followed by these illiterate and imbecile masses attacking individuals for what may have hurt their feelings?
He messed up? He definitely did, but it happens, remember World Cup 2010 and how many blatantly legitimate goals were denied by the refs? What happened, life went on.
Are we that spiteful of a nation not being able to forget and forgive? Are we taking football and sports that far to menace a referee, cussing him and his entire family on a public platform such as Facebook?
