I received this PM from one of our members, who doesn't want to be named, he is suggesting the below, which is a great idea as well:

I want to offer a suggestion (which I would like you to post in BOLD in the thread) which I think will make our efforts more meaningful by increasing the likelihood of getting the attention of reputable, global media ..... USE TWITTER.
Please ask the members to use Twitter accounts, because Twitter is more instantaneous, unlike email, and facebook accounts. The problem with sending in emails to various newspapers, and news correspondents, especially on a day like today (Saturday, which is a weekend) is that you will not receive a response, other than an automated one ..... which does nothing for us as we need PROMPT action. However, most sports global media have Twitter accounts, that are being updated as we speak since they are covering Premier League matches.
I suggest that the following Twitter accounts be contacted (I am sure there are much more, but these are the big ones):
@HuffingtonPost
@beINSPORTS
@NBCSports
@FOXSports
@ESPNFC
@ESPNDeportes
Tweet (message) the following message:
@HuffingtonPost Dear HuffPo, please follow up on this breaking story out of Australia RE: Asian Cup controversy. http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/artic...ligible-player
(^Of course, replace the addresses and media with each new Tweet)
As Twitter has a character limit, you cannot include the entire message from the first page of this thread, but what you can do is post the hyperlink, as I did, to the SBS Australia story, which does the job.
I have already sent Tweets to all the above Twitter handles, and we need forum members that have Twitter to do the same.
I would post all this in the thread myself, but it seems I having problems posting on the forums. Anyhow, I just wanted to let you know and get the message across! Don't let the others know that I came up with this idea (I don't want to take any credit or anything) .... but just get the message across!
Thanks!
