This was the date that made the Iranian football community unite and rally behind their country with an overwhelming show of force in numbers.
Some members who were even in a bit of personal dispute with each other, they put aside their personal difference to defend Iran's rights.
Team Melli players have sacrificed so much and left their families behind to come and play for Iran. And you can tell how much it means to them, when you see the pain and tears in their eyes after having robbed by a disgusting referee of our rightful place in the semifinal. And as fans, we feel with them and want to reciprocate their services and loyalty to the Iranian people.
Most of us have been here long enough to remember the painful experience of 2004, where the POS lebanese referee ripped our hearts out in the semifinal match against China.
Today is where we decided that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
We took it upon ourselves to do whatever we can to defend our national honor and rights, and most of us have spent the entire day contacting all major international media outlets and making tweets etc.
Even if the final verdict does not end in our favor, I feel something much more profound has been won. Which is a sense of belonging to a community of patriotic, passionate and devoted and loyal fans that will even put their lives on hold for the sake of their national team.
Today made me extremely proud to belonging to this community and being a TM die hard fan.
I salute all of you.
