Yes, we did win 2007 despite all the terrible things going on in our country for last many decades, and even worse things happening right now, like our countries literally in utter chaos and split apart. we were even fortunate to beat Jordan and come up against you and now make it to the Semi-Finals. Let the Iraqi people once again enjoy a happy moment in our lives where we are living our lives in daily chaos, even though I wanted Team Melli to definitely lose!
fixed it for you, for some weird reason you had gotten all your possessive adjectives wrong.

If any Iraqi ever says "Oh, that's bad sportsmanship or sore loser" or any bullshit like that - show them this:

Iraq face weeks of waiting over complaint Qatar fielded ineligible Brazilian-born player

A verdict on whether FIFA was wrong not to sanction Qatar for fielding an ineligible player in a World Cup qualifier could take several weeks, according to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

On Wednesday, CAS heard the case brought by Asian champions Iraq, who complained Qatar's illegal fielding of Brazilian-born Emerson had robbed them of a place in the last round of 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

'There was no request by the parties involved for an urgent release of the court's findings,' CAS Secretary-General Matthieu Reeb said.

'It will be deferred until all parties are notified, which could take a few weeks.'

FIFA suspended Emerson after discovering he had represented Brazil at youth level under his former name, Marcio Passos De Albuquerque.

However, it cleared Qatar of wrongdoing, despite competition rules stating any team 'found guilty of fielding an ineligible player shall forfeit the match in question.'

Emerson had a previous brush with authorities in 2006 for falsifying his age on his birth certificate.

He played for Qatar in their victory over Iraq, a defeat which effectively ended the war-torn country's hopes of reaching their first World Cup in 24 years.

Qatar are currently top of their group in World Cup qualifying after a win and a draw in their first two final-round matches.

I have no respect for Iraqis, especially the Iraqi Shias. Who use their two-face to tell us that religion connects us but secretly want to be with the Arab world - who btw would tear them limb-by-limb if other Arabs got their hands on them. Suck ups and inferior complex disorder ...

I know this is not football related, but you even saw that dirty Alaa Abdul-Zara, definitely a Shia by his name, tell Iraqis not to go to Iran. Yeah, please don't ever step foot in Iran, stay in your own country. Also, don't venture too much up north because ISIS might get you. Dirty prick.

damn wtf...yeah these guys are all angels. sounds like an excerpt out of farsnews.com- i really could vomit now. yeah congrats for screwing us over...ridiculos. the grand spiritual leader...if he s so spiritual he should try to bring some peace into his country instead of begging us to hold our heads inn for his arab mates. who knows these guys..we dont care about them. today its masum fuad tomorrow another idiot. thats exactly the iranian misery, we try to cope with all kind of bullshit that happens to us and then congratulate the ones that cheat and screw us. After 8 years of war with arabs i thought maybe some of us might have learned sth. Saddams famous phrase *this is a victory for all the arabs* and then u guys come to tell me that most iraqis are with us. forget that story about shias being each others supporters, when it comes to iranian shias thats not valid. they are anything but civilized these cradles of civilization. just open your eyes and stop behaving like drunk fanboys.

            well said Sumerian.

It is embarrassing what sore losers Iranians can be.

Hopefully the two nations can continue to improve relations in the future.
            Good luck against Korea.

Want to control an Iranian? Control their emotions. For us, Iraq is the new Bahrain.
Those Iraqis don't represent the whole nation just like Iranians who attacked Messi & Lima's page don't represent us either. Bahrain and Qatar's situation is way different than Iraq. Those guys screwed with us big time but it was mostly the referee and AFC who's screwing with us. I'm sure if instead of Iraq we were playing China, they would have done the same.

                  Get lost Iraqi troll.

Were you a sore loser too when you were trying to get Qatar eliminated in 2010 World Cup qualifiers for fielding an ineligible player? Were you a sore loser for getting a 3-0 default victory against our Olympic team for fielding an ineligible player (who was used as a sub), after we beat you 1-0 in Kurdistan?

                  Good - get lost.

So wait - Iraqis that write that racist shit aren't real Iraqis, but when someone like Sumerian (I haven't seen another Iraqi write like he did), writes like this, he's a true Iraqi?

As I said, even Sumerian's message wasn't as peaceful as you think. He said Iran was counter-attacking, when we were whipping Iraq's ass before the red card. And he said Iranians are being racist when they have shown much more racism.

Yet Iranians thank him for his under-handed insults? What a badbakht nation we are.

I'm just saying we shouldn't generalize and judge the whole nation by trolls on twitter, pfdc and bigsoccer that's all. How do we feel when we are being judged by West & Europeans who think all Iranians are mullas and chant death to america?

I agree, the whole story around Isis and peace was just to get his 3 points across.

You are right, however it is ridiculous that even sumerian believes they could have won had pouladi not been carded. They think because of our tactics they were the better team. They are delusional. Pouladi was one of the best defenders of the world cup, and they just don't wanna admit they got through due to referee and not because they deserved it.

As I said, only Sumerian posted a somewhat decent write-up (albeit, it was very sly and cunning) from an Iraqi. The vast, vast majority are ridiculing Iranians.

Until the penalty "win" - we have beaten these guys countless times over the past decade. We never got this arrogant.

They are just an arrogant group of people, and a plaything for all countries around them.
