I want the 8-0ers, Choi and Al Doping in our group - and welcome them in a packed Azadi stadium with Al Ben Williams being the referee for all 3 matches to bring them all down to earth.

Everyone's focus, federation, fans and IPL coaches, should shift to the U-23 qualifying and TM Omid in the next two months IMHO.

There has always been a major disconnect between the main TM and the underage ones and if we're going to be successful in the future, we need to take these tournaments just as seriously and spend just as much time, effort and resources on them. TM Omid has been playing well in their last two camps, but getting little attention even in this forum.

Some current TM Players or recent call ups like JB, Azmoun, Saghebi and Karimi can gain additional valuable experience from participating in TM Omid, not to mention that some other players can shine and start a bright career in TM for the 2018 WC.

That's a bit harsh bro. Other than the 9 months under Vingada, which was obviously a coaching issue, what has TM Omid done to deserve such a harsh comment and utter lack of support?

They're the only one of the 3 top TM teams to have won a Gold medal under the IR and the only TM to have finished in the top 4 in three consecutive continental championships.

They were in that unlucky situation with Iraq in the 2012 Olympics qualifiers and were eliminated in the last U-22 Asian championship with a single loss in a VERY tough group.

^ If we just avoid Qatar in that round, we should easily top our group, which is necessary to advance to the final round.
