    Sore losers?

Guys it was a heart breaking loss, but some of the reactions on the homepage seem biased and a bit desperate.

Was the ref really that bad?
    Pooladi has himself to blame.
Why was a left back even up in the other box near the end of the first half (winning 1-0) to begin with?
His feigning of injury and rolling around on the ground wasting time deserved a yellow. So did the Iraqi goalie for pushing him.
Being that he was already on a yellow, he should have avoided any attention from the ref.
I wish TM would stop rolling on the ground crying. That aspect of Asian football is embarrassing.

Regardless of the refs, Iraq were much more confident and cool on their penalties.

    Doping scandal??? really?
that just seemed desperate. Iraq are through, lets graciously accept defeat and build on the positives.

    Positives of the tournament:
    Emergence of Azmoun up front.
Ghafouri at right back - he was very impressive.
Teymurian was Iran's best player of the tournament. He set up most goals and never stopped running.

    On to WCQ2018

    Another new thread?

I don't care about the content, but why do people feel the need to open a new thread for every opinion they think is original when that opinion has been expressed hundreds of times already in different threads.

first of all thank you very much for signing in and creating an absolute new account just to let us enjoy your important point of view.
Second Carsten Jancker is spelled like this with a C. Last but not least I suggest you to discuss your ideas in Baghdad, go set up a nice shisha and eat some malakh kebab with your mom while discussing your opinion with her. I am sure she has something to contribute about Iranian (guys) too

Another Iraqi troll coming here calling us sore losers.

Again, was Iraq a sore loser when:
                  (1) They asked Qatar be kicked out of 2010 WCQ for fielding an ineligible player
                  (2) They got a 3-0 victory over Iran in Olympics, after we beat them 1-0 in Kurdistan

Yes, lets take this guys opinion as facts, not the professional commentators whom said that both of Pouladi's yellow cards were BS.

And the doping rumours were proven true, they were even claimed and sent to FIFA BEFORE the game.

This is not the first time that Iran was defeated in a game. When we lost to Lebanon or Uzbekistan did we blame anyone? No we only blamed our goal keeper for his poor performance so don't you dare calling us a sore loser.
Iraq is not even in our level for us to have any discussions with you here. You think you won 1 Asian Cup and you are a tough nation? Get out of here !!!

Have you seen the Fifa letters where they confirmed that your player was doping?

This ref should never have been allowed to pariticipate in this tournament, on this level of football!! ffs, Australias own commentators said he's a fail!!

Whenever someone like carsten janker talk and bring some logic to all these awful discussions he gets bombarded with replies and posts to make his post look useless. The sad thing is that how many people have to work as a part of a conspiracy to deceive the fans and the public, typical Zionist and American approach. For example, suggesting that Javad Nekunam should stay in the National team. Javad Nekunam has been the weakest and the most useless player since at least the World Cup, and not only in the National team of Iran but in teams like Al Kuwait.
