Semi Finals : Ben William's Iraq vs South Korea/UAE vs Australia

The first game of the semi finals is in a few hours at 4am EST between South Korea and Iraq. The second game is tomorrow at the same time between Australia and Iraq.


I've never done match threads before nor do I think anyone here wants to do one for this game. Its just heartbreaking since I took tomorrow off because I thought we would be playing in this match.
I'm still gutted to think about it.

But here is to Korea beating Iraq and UAE beating Australia!

I respectfully ask for this thread and all similar threads (related to cup of a corrupt organization called AFC) to be closed.

I certainly will not follow, not care about the remaining games and consider this a first, albeit minor, step in boycotting all things AFC.

Let's not have any more threads on this site please that report on non-Iranian news.

I'm expecting Korea to maul Iraq. Not out of personal bias, but because their main playmaker, Yasser Kasim, is suspended for this match, with two yellow cards. Probably 75-80% possession for Korea with Iraq grassrolling to keep the game close. Son Heung Min to score a hattrick. Cha Du Ri to offer his Cha Dor for Younis Mahmouds crying face after the game.

I always supported South Korea after Iran, not only at Asian Cup but in general... we used to have a healthy rivalary that goes back to the 60ies and 70ies......!
But only until your (back then) coach Mr. Choi and his stupid comments at WCQ14, that really destroyed a healthy rivalary between two of Asia's classic teams and created a war. Really those commenst were uncalled for and have no place in international football!
I am glad you fired him and brought Uli Stilike, who was a great player and is also a very well respected coach in Germany.
I do wish you guys best of luck versus Iraq. You are stronger than them and will beat them for sure! Go get them!
