If Australia deserves to be kicked out of AFC then other corrupt and dirty FAs should get kicked out as well such as China, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Indonesia, Singapore.

So how are you going to be competitive at the WC Finals if all you are playing is shit footballing countries like Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain? In your weightlifting example you are training with 5KG weights and then trying to lift 180KG at the competition.
Some people want to see their team at the WC Finals more than developing a good national team. Trust me man the world doesn't give a shit about crap teams who go the WC Finals and do nothing for the game. If anything it makes their club more important to them because at least they play good football and they don't have to tear eyes out watching it.

Asian competition is only a tool to qualify for international competition not to progress.

The level there is low (with or without australia) and will remain low whatever happens. So i want iran to do the minimal job, qualify for international competitions. The only means to progress are :

- good non asian friendlies (more easy to have if the world see us at every WC and confederation cup)
- WC and confederations cup regular presence. At the beginning we may not have a big impact but we will progress, our prestige will raise if people see us frenquently at the world stage as nobody pay attention to asian competitions.
- have some of our players that got transfered in Europe.

Wasn't the path that iran volleyball and japan football followed? do we have to count on Bahrain, Saudi, North Korea, iraq etc... to raise their level to progress ourselves with our AFC match with them? we would wait a very very long time then...

it is not the stronger or weaker than other asian countries. it is what they brought to Asia as contribution? you are saying professionalism? with that kind of refereeing? we already had corrupt referee thank you very much!

Perhaps Australia's presence and performance is why Asia has kept its World Cup spots as opposed to losing them.

That's where the arab countries should play if they wanted to improve their football. If Australia could join CONMEBOL the fans would be over the moon getting to see the team play the best in South America. Different mentality here man they aren't all about getting a place in the finals they want to be able improve to win it at some stage.

There is only 4 teams in Asia who are taken half seriously around the world and we get 4.5 spots its very generous IMO for the level as a whole.
