It's funny how the OP refers to being brainwashed, because only those who are easily brainwashed can buy into that nonsense. All the points are complete bs based on either stupidity or ulterior motives. Others have already went into detail, but to add a few things: CQ has definitely given credit to Iranian coaches before. He has singled out Golmohammadi, Mansourian and Hashemian as coaches who should play a bigger part in our football going forward. Why should he give credit to stooges like Derakhshan and GN who have bashed him daily since he took the job? A moron like Derakhshan was caught on TV before the World Cup laughing about how we were hopeless against the likes of Messi, Di Maria and Aguero. Not only was he ridiculing Team Melli, he was also admitting he has no idea how Argentina could be stopped. The same fool then turned around and bashed the team for its tactics after the World Cup. I'm glad CQ has confronted these parasites.

As for the players praising the coach, how come this never happened when others were in charge? No other coach including Blazevic and Ivic has ever had the backing of the players the way CQ has. Also, why in the world would the likes of Dejagah, Ando, Hosseini and Gucci need to kiss ass? These players are as indispensable as you'll ever find on the national team and they have been very vocal about the need to keep CQ even when it looked like he would be replaced. Only a fool would suggest these guys need to suck up to the coach.

It's more like the OP is fooling us (along with his cousin) and is brainwashed (into becoming a suicide bomber).
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Lol, this guy is still on the air?! I'm surprised anyone watches his show. It's horrible.

I thought they stopped funding all these LA satellite shows.

I did not watch the Zahab show but I do know the guests were the Bayati brothers who on and off coached TM from 68 till 73.

Edit I just started watching the replay and one of the brothers said that contrary to what the coach and the players have said we lost Pooladi in the 43 rd min of the first half so we only played with 10 man for only 45 or 46 min.

And these are the so called experts Zahab brings on his show who do not even remember we went to OVERTIME and this why everyone says we played 80 min with 10 men.

Can anyone take experts like these seriously ??

I like Zahab as well but he really discredits himself by bring on guests such as these who are completely out of touch with TODAY'S FOOTBALL.

Iran has made a huge commitment to keep Carlos until the end of WC 2018. I believe his potential 10 year tenure should he actually see the TM through to 2018 must be a record, yes? With that said,

I look at his record and frankly it does not impress me. It is not bad but it is not OMG of the charts. Branko without much fanfare did just as well or better [he made it to the AFC 2005 semi-final and finished 3rd] If you are results oriented then I do not see how you can be a Carlos supporter.

Bear in mind that if he stays on until 2018 as contracted then another mediocre result in the 2018 WC or worse failure to qualify would mean an absolute disaster for TM. Why? Well, you do the math, 10 years of service only to get mediocre results is not what the Iranian fans nor footballers want, do they? No. Carlos's record when the stakes are very high has taken huge hits since the qualifier win against S.Korea before the 2014 WC.

1- With qualification for the second round of 2014 WC on the table against an already eliminated Bosnia [whom I thought presented TM with the best chance for 3 points] the team came out flat and conceded 3 goals after having conceded only ONE in their previous 2 games. IMO, that was a really bad loss.

2- With a place in the semi-finals of AFC 2015 on the line, TM were tied with Iraq 3-3 and ultimately lost in PSO 7-6. Once again, here we have a squad that had not conceded a SINGLE goal in its previous two matches yet suddenly they allow 3 goals in from an Iraqi team that I am not even sure if they have functioning government.

3- See the pattern in 1 and 2 above?

Time will tell, of course. However, not always but more often than not, past performance can be an indicator of future performance.

You do know the same Iraq "without a functioning government" made the semifinals of the Olympics and actually WON the Asian Cup. Correct? And you also know we played against them with ten men for 80 out of 120 minutes. Right?

CQ created a team that only a sub human ref can stop it.

The only person CQ is fooling is himself for agreeing to Coach a team with no money , no support, no infrastructure and people like you who always criticize, complain and destroy progress.

Im really sorry for CQ as he has he hands tied down by an incompetent IFF and a corrupt AFC. He should be coaching in much larger stages under much better conditions, yet he chose Iran, he chose to stay here and he defends his team like a Lion defending her cubs. so the audacity of anyone criticizing him leaves me baffled!!

He said that CQ has not done well:
                              a) He does not give credit to other coaches in Iran who work with players
                              b) He treats players like a dictator and punishments do not meet the players' mistakes fairly such as the Rahmati incident
                              c) Of course players will fully support him as long as he is coach they have no other choice.. only a few years later after he leaves can they openly discuss what really happened
                              d) He has been nothing special - it is not like he spends 9-5 working in Iran coaching other coaches or doing anything productive
                              e) Where on Earth do you see a league close for 55 days.. A league in Australia has been going on at the same time of these Asian games.. hundreds of players in Iran have been hurt by these closures in the league and it simply makes no sense that CQ does not compromise
                              f) He is out of control as we saw when Pooladi got red carded he lost his temper and this was detrimental to the psyche of the players as they too would follow suit and get further red cards if they follow their coach's anger at the referee.
I must admit I feel like this guy CQ has been tricking us and I myself have been stupid to be brain washed somehow. When an actual successful coach who has brought success to TM criticizes and says that CQ MUST GO, I believe the expertise is enough to say that I have been wrong. Not that I care that much, my life goes on, but knowledge is power I guess and I do want to see TM succeed.
I am officially joining the ANTI-CQ camp following this expert commentary tonight.
Carlos queiroz is the best coach Iran has ever had. There is no other comparison. This other coach is just a moronic hater who has no idea what he is talking about and simply doesn't know how to get the same team work /discipline out of our players line carlos queiroz does, which is why he Doesn't understand queiroz's methods.

                              What an idiot.

Zahab lost credibility when he keep mentioning that PAS tehran should be moved even before it was moved!!! and what do you know, they actually moved PAS tehran.
again he lost credibility to bring qotbi and promoting him as a coach, and what did this so call qotbi do for our football!! who knew Korea like a back of his hands LOL
he lost credibility again after the WC when he criticized the way iran played defensive football and calling it if i am not mistaking "anyone can play defensive, it is not anything especial"
he lost credibility again every time he talks about CQ he says that he is also involved in "other" business like transferring players etc....
now first of all it is none of his business what CQ does on the side as a side job if it is not effecting his on field performance, second of all, i am all about him transferring our players to European leagues, as if this is something iligal and should not be done!! at least he is doing us an favor
i watch his show once in a while, i used to watch his show often, but unfortunately he has been wrong on many things and he tries to say he is right.
i have not watch the show last night, but CQ has been the one who decreased the number of IPL teams to 16 teams, even if CQ does not close down the league for TM games QN and others will cry foul to have the games stopped because they have players in TM, WHY???
because QN and others do not really have a bench and cant rely on their bench for match games unlike CQ. so if you take 2-3 players from SS or PP they whole team falls apart, unlike CQ team were they will perform the same regardless of who you take out!!
so now you tell me expert zahab, who knows more about his players CQ or QN and other coaches!!
                                IRI = FAILED
