Adel some times annoys the hell out of me, I think he has ADD. I mean he asks a question and then he starts looking away and uninterested in the reply. CQ said something interesting about the assistant coach position, he said I am not interested in people who are more focused on posting on Facebook then helping the team, was he referring to karimi?

I would really love to have Mansouriann and Hashemian in the TM assisting CQ

Oh and I love Peyravani, excellent comment in his interview. GN on the other hand is an idiot who shouldn't talk, First he says what is wrong with our league it has produced great players that went to bundesliga and his examples were daei and co. Then he says friendlies are and excuse, in his time they had as many friendlies and went to the tournament, no shit Sherlock and what happened.

The worst part was when Queiroz was talking about how the sarbazi issue was an orchestrated campaign to negatively impact TM players and Adel, instead of asking more questions about this issue, simply went back to the discussion of Ben Williams...

I honestly think this is a great tactic CQ uses, very smart and effective.
Maybe not the best for every game, but especially when facing opponents who can give us trouble.

ALL of Iran's coaches today with the exception of the younger gens( like Yahya, Mansourian, Khatibi) are complete illiterates in modern football. They lack the basic knowledge and always get outclassed by foreign coaches! Case in point ACL where Iran is yet to taste victory and earn a trophy. Bijan Z. is no exception. He lacks complete understanding and he is no where near the league of coaches to be even allowed to question CQ. Now if we had Zlatko Kranjcar maybe! but not any boomy coaches....

many coaches in iran have ogdeh, why because CQ get alot of money, and they get no share of the pie, and CQ can put players ad coaches aside and iff cant say anything. hence they come on the show and complain, or give stupid interview, for example dereakshan not happy why no pp player is playing or GN over any thing. they keep focusing on his salary, the fact is he is the cheaper class A coach we can afford, coaches like lippi, cappelo and anceloti, will charge like 5-6- million, cappelo got 12 million from russia. can iran really afford a class A coach for a cheap price?this guys knows IFF wont give this type of money to them. only mohajerani brought iran to world cup after a long time being assistant, after that which iranian coach took iran to world cup?NONE,why?because they are not pros, GN had the same team as 2006 and he messed up asian cup that badly, iranian coaches are good, but can they coach real madrid, they cant even coach real madrid under 10s, that the problem, they have all this ogdeh in them and are not happy they are not in the action, and they should not be, zolfaganasb should focus on cq tactics rather than contract!

1-he claims that a coach as high caliber as cq is hired to raise the level of football in the whole country and is contracted accordingly with technical committees supervising and directing activities to take maximum usage of his presence and the huge amount of money given.

2-terms of his contract are too one sided and should have looked out for our advantage more.

3-cq results should be judged in terms of what was given and what was received again due to amount and terms and his caliber! same results might be acceptable or even extraordinary if done by lesser coaches. again everything is relative!

4-he credits him on his professionalism and good play in our group matches but reminds everyone that these are indeed second tier teams and iran should beat these teams which we did.

5-our most experienced players and p.k takers should have taken our first penalty. nekounam or seyed jalal should have taken it, he is absolutely right and hajsafi did miss the penalty.

6-cq lost it after iran red! he did not have a positive affect on the psyche of his players. we say in farsi: bayad masaloro behtar jaam mikard. cq looked like he was gonna take the team off the field, absolutely livid!

7-a technical committee should sit down with cq in a two sided and fair analysis and offer suggestions and help to each other to better the over all football not just ba one sided cq knows best fvck everyone else.

8-we should not worry too much and let the wording of the contract that if we fire him we must pay 800000 so we have to keep him. all things should be considered on their own merit. this money is nothing, if he has delivered what has been outlined he should continue if not then he should be replaced regardless of the years salary for termination.

i watched only half way i will post the rest when i watch the other half of navad.

some of his point were valid but how can a coach improve iran football more than what he has done, iran football has club problems, clubs arent professional and pitches are bad, he is trying his best, maybe he got it wrong on the peanlty taker as i think javad should have taken the first one since he is the best taker we have

Great interview over all. I love Mansourian and I think he would be an excellent candidate to become CQ's assistance.

There was a part where Adel said to CQ that "It would have been better if you wouldn't have said anything about Ben Williams after Iran-Bahrain game where you said he wasn't in the level of Asia". Carlos denied it and he said he never said that but I actually do remember him saying that right after the game. He didn't say it in the press conference but right after the game where they interview a few players and coaches, I do recall him saying it.

Zolfagharnasab can get lost with his "technical committee" crap. Those things never have done what they're supposed to do in our system and only exist to put money for doing nothing in the pockets of opportunist old-timers like this guy. The article I posted did a good job of exposing charlatans like him and what they're really after.

Besides, what in the world does "Dr.Z" have to offer someone who's coached at Real Madrid and served as the main tactician of Man United during their glory years?? This ain't about Iranian versus European. It's about individuals' respective positions in their field. Z and other jokes like Derakhshan were never top tier coaches even by Iranian standards! For the likes of them to sit on a committee to "oversee" CQ is like hiring a handful of bench warmers from the 4th division to consult Jalal Hosseini on proper defending. The issue here isn't that the rest of us are "ajnabi parast"; it's that some of these so called critics are pathetically xenophobic and tribalist.

Zolfagharnasab is a true scum in Iranian football. He was instrumental in Ivich being fired before worldcup 98 when he was serving as his assistant. Ashgar Sharafi mentions in his radio interview with VA or De welle (I do not remember which one) how opinionated and racist ZN actually is against quality foreign coaches as they served in a committee together. ZN is a back stabber and should not be trusted. I hope fans with technical know how could show how lowlife he is in ZN's face book for all to see.

That's right I forgot to even mention that. ZN was the IFF-appointed assistant to Ivic and played a major role in his firing with the hopes that the top job would be given to him once Ivic was gone. In the end he only got half his mission accomplished... Ivic was fired but Jalal Talebi was brought in to take over. At that point ZN quit in protest and left the team! He's always been a self-serving xenophobic lowlife.
