Also, he disappointed me with his reactions in the PK shootout. He was jumping at random. He should have expected Younis Mahmud's chip, since he did the same exact shot 2 weeks before against us, and could have easily blocked it.

Agree, I also expected more from him as he actually is a decent PK saver from what I have seen. However he was injured and some of those penalties were well taken anyway, still he could have done better. Regarding kewnis, actually you could also expect the opposite. Since he already missed one vs. Iran and another in AC, he might take the PK different....just saying.

I feel like Haghighi was given the spot too easily,

This is very unfair Afat jaan, Haghighi worked his ass off for the #1 spot. Despite having a hard time in Russia and being questioned by many people as he did to get enough playing time there - Haghighi continued to move on and ignored fame/money, even willing to play in a 2nd European League. Whether he is good enough or not is another topic, but he surely trained harder than any other keeper for this spot in the last years.

Davari needs to learn Persian language. Once he does then he will surely deserve a place in Team Melli squad.

i still think rahmati is iran's best GK and from wat i saw in the league, beyranvand seems to be the 2nd best. haghighi and forouzan are good too, but the 2 goals hahighi conceded against iraq and his inability to save 1 penalty out of 9 makes me think, we should try our beyranvand a few games as well. too bad rahmati didnt act professionally when he had the chance to.
