Australia was so lucky Faghani did not red card the Aussie(who already had a yellow) when he jammed his foot in the Korean Player's stomach. Even when the players had a yellow(Aussies) he would let it go if they committed another bad foul. So for them to BOO him was a nice Ungrateful gesture.

Unlike the Scumbag Williams, Faghani did not ruin the game.

Dude Faghani missed a clear penalty in the box against Juric which would have put the Aussies up 3-1. A very clear cut penalty but he didn't blow it. I don't think he did it on purpose I think he had a bad game that's all.

the final was a ripper of a game for a staged one.

I didn't watch it cause it wasn't a final worth watching. The whole cup was set up in a way to benefit Australia, because you guys ain't that good, your team are not impressing anybody, not even yourselves.

It would have been my dream to see an Aus v Iran final.

The buildup would have been crazy and I would have had a chance to see 97 all over again cause thats what they would have been talking about the whole game.

What I'm saying is that the only real threat to Australia on there way to win the trophy where Iran and Japan, and they managed to avoid them both. So the path to the finals was pretty open. This forum is filled with bunch of sad, bitter immature so called "fans". Be a man and accept the team who deserved it, won it. We lost to a pathetic Iraq side (With a very unfortunate call, but still lost. Not all 10 v 11s lose), so no need to cry over it for ever. That's why our football hasn't done garbage in global stage and when it has mattered for decades. Always making excuses, always playing the blame game, always seeing ourselves above anything that's not ourselves.

Well done to Australia and congratulations. Any team that scores 14 goals in 6 games deserves the championship. Hope you're a good representative for AFC in Russia 2017. Be interesting to see if Tim Cahill will keep on going for one last World Cup. He was tournament's MVP for sure.

Aussies deserved it. they were the best team and play the cleanest game, no time wasting, no flip flopping like us and arabs just pure clean football. no time management no whining and crying. won both asian cup and asian champions league in the same year and two finals appearances in a row! congrats to oz1 enjoy it. koreans should hold their heads high, they played well throughout the tournament.
