Losing a player means every strategy or game plan you prepare for can be thrown out the door especially that early in the game. Players have to play different positions, substitutions have to be done earlier to make up for tired players, and in this case, we lost a key player on our defense which meant we suffered even more.
I find it funny when people on PFDC make comments such as "we need to attack more" or "we need to play with gheyrat" as soon as we went down by 1 player. These are comments from people watching the games on their laptops. No one is saying we need to raise the white flag and surrender, but when you are down a player, it's inevitable that you have to pull back and defend.
