Half Time:
Bunyodkor 0 - 1 Perspolis
PP was definitely on the back foot for the majority of the 1st half, but we looked okay on the rare counters. Overall PP is playing a smart game and have been solid in defense on 90% of Buny's ttacks.
It looked like there was another foul committed on Taromi inside the box, but no penalty was given this time. Nouri got a yellow card after the half time whistle for complaining to the ref. about that incident.
Noteworthy, that if the result stays (fingers crossed), PP will have more than half the points needed to qualify for the 2nd round with only two games played! In the last 5 editions of ACL every team with 11 points has made it to the 2nd round.
