Here are Iranian Athletes of Rep. of Azerbaijan:
    Kiyan Soltanpour - Football
    Pardis Fardjad-Azad - Football
    Saman Tahmasebi - Greco-Roman Wrestling
Arash Labaf - Euro Vision Song Contest 2009
any more Iranians who represented Rep of Azerbaijan?
Kiyan still hasn't played for their national team as of yet, he just plays in their first division league. Hopefully we can snatch him up, considering he used to be a player for Dortmund II team.

Saman played for Iran's team though, and is currently part of the Azeri team. By the way, this not the first time an Iranian international player has played on a different national team. For example, Masoud Boroumand played for TM then later on he switched and played for Lebanon's national team. Plus he scored 10 times for Iran.

Azerbaijan league is not TM material. Better call up Radjabali-Fardi, who has played in all youth levels of Germany NT and established himself in Hansa Rostock, a 3.Bundesliga side with a history of top-flight football.

I agree with your call up, but on a side note Farzad Hatami played for an Azeri team in their league before moving to Sepahan.

I would rather invite whole Iran Javan and Mes Rafsanjan players from Azadegan league than him

Both are similar, they are very fond of naturalising foreigners. Their difference is one is Arab and other is Ajam.

Actually they are the same, small insignificant countries who belonged to bigger greater nations( Azerbaijan part of Iran) out to make a name for themselves!...
