For those of you who always complain and say Iran shouldn't host any major football tournaments - this is exactly why!

AFC has forced Azadi Stadium owners to update parts of the stadium for the semi-final and final (if we get in).

They wouldn't have done this in 20 years if there was no one lighting a fire underneath their butts.

They're not major upgrades, but every little bit counts. If we had hosted Asia Cup 2019 we would have had a lot more actually constructed stadiums + women in stadiums

That makes IR look even worse. When you have most of the necessary material available and it still takes you 20 times longer than most other countries to finish projects like this it only proves your incompetence, laziness and corruption.

The problem with the morons in charge is they're not just inept, but also insanely corrupt and indifferent about their responsibilities. If they were doing all they could but just didn't have the competence, we could at least give them some credit. But the problem is that apart from their ineptitude they also don't give a crap about anything that doesn't help their own direct interests. Having a modern stadium versus an old crappy one doesn't put much money in their pockets, but it does require effort and also money that could be easily embezzled instead of spent on finishing the project. That's why in a country that is supposedly "self-sufficient" in construction, building a simple average stadium takes as long as building an entire goddamn city.

، ورزشگاه «فولاد آرنا» با میزبانی از تیم ملی فوتبال کشورمان افتتاح خواهد شد.

به گزارش خبرگزاری فارس و به نقل از سایت باشگاه فولاد خوزستان، ورزشگاه مجهز و اختصاصی «فولاد آرنا» که با کوشش شرکت فولاد خوزستان در آستانه بهره*برداری کامل قرار گرفته، در دیدار افتتاحیه میزبان شاگردان کارلوس کی روش خواهد بود.

حبیب الله رضایی ضمن بیان این مطلب، اظهار داشت: خوشبختانه پروژه ورزشگاه 30 هزار نفری فولاد به اتمام رسیده و با توجه به اهمیت بسیار بالای افتتاح از این ورزشگاه، برای برپایی یک مراسم افتتاحیه باشکوه و میزبانی از یک بازی بین المللی تلاش هایی صورت گرفته و برهمین اساس درخواست رسمی باشگاه جهت میزبانی یکی از بازی های تیم ملی فوتبال ایران به مسوولان فدراسیون فوتبال و هیات فوتبال ارائه شده است.

مدیرعامل باشگاه فولاد خوزستان همچنین افزود: قطعاً حضور تیم ملی در استان خوزستان با توجه به ظرفیت بالای فوتبالی این استان و جایگاه آن در ورزش کشور حرکتی بسیار زیبا و ماندگار خواهد بود و برای مجموعه فولاد نیز افتخار میزبانی از ملی پوشان کشورمان در مسیر جام ملت ها و همزمانی انجام این دیدار با افتتاحیه ورزشگاه بی همتای این باشگاه بسیار ارزشمند خواهد بود و ان*شالله مجموعه فولاد خوزستان در این مسیر تمام تلاش خود را به کار خواهد گرفت تا در کنار مردم فوتبالدوست خوزستان و اهواز میزبان بسیار خوبی برای تیم ملی باشد.

رضایی همچنین در خصوص زمان احتمالی برگزاری این بازی اظهار داشت: زمان قطعی این بازی مشخص نشده است اما به احتمال زیاد در روزهای پایانی این ماه خواهد بود. قرار است که تیم ملی 24 آبان با تیم ملی ترنیداد و توباگو بازی کند و بعد از آن یک دیدار تدارکاتی دیگر خواهد داشت و ما مکاتبات لازم را انجام داده ایم تا ان*شالله در صورت برگزاری این بازی تدارکاتی، برنامه افتتاح «فولاد آرنا» را در حضور ملی پوشان و با مشارکت مسوولان بلندپایه در کلانشهر اهواز انجام دهیم.

گفتنی است؛ ورزشگاه سرپوشیده فولاد خوزستان با داشتن بسیاری از امکانات روز و کسب بالاترین رده کیفی ورزشگاه ها، در کنار کمپ بزرگ ورزشی فولاد خوزستان شامل چندین زمین چمن فوتبال، مجموعه سرپوشیده چمن مصنوعی، مجموعه استخرها، سالن های بدنسازی، اقامتگاه های مجهز جهت اسکان اعضای تیم ها و... در نیمه دوم سال با توجه به آب و هوای بسیار خوب خوزستان می تواند پذیرای تیم های مختلف فوتبال و همچنین میزبان تیم*های ملی باشد.

تهیه کاور مخصوص برای زمین چمن از جمله مواردی است که مسوولان کنفدراسیون فوتبال آسیا، خواهان اجرای آن در ورزشگاه آزادی شده*اند.

به گزارش سایت رسمی باشگاه پرسپولیس، مسوولان کنفدراسیون فوتبال آسیا در راستای آماده*سازی ورزشگاه آزادی برای برگزاری بازی نهایی لیگ قهرمانان و برگزاری افتتاحیه این مسابقه، خواستار تهیه کاور مخصوصی برای زمین چمن شده*اند که به همین منظور تولید شده و در دنیا مورد استفاده قرار می*گیرد.

گفتنی است؛ این کاور، ضد آب و ضد حریق است و برای محافظت از چمن در شرایط بد جوی و همچنین حین برگزاری مراسم و برنامه*ها مورد استفاده قرار می*گیرد.

Ahvaz is the scariest stadium to see games being played at with no tracks, as they often throw objects at the players, coaches refs etc. Hope that terrible behavior stops ASAP.
