So pipes bursting was the actual cause and not discarded cigarettes. Interesting though as in Esfahan news is abound that 18 people died as well...although completely denied in all news sources.

If pipes fell down and crushed some cars, people might not have died necessarily. it could happen anywhere. tbh, when I was working in a mall, everytime we had to walk through the parking area, I was afraid like shit.

Usually not at relatively new structures...yes something like this happened in Kenya last year I believe.

This stadium looks amazing and like the potential it provides. However, Samen Stadium in Mashaad was already a good stadium, so what's the plan they have for Samen? Maybe Siah Jamegan uses one and Padideh uses the other?

I have the same concern for Ghadir and new Foolad stadium

1. They are testing Azadi Stadium's second level to see if their strengthening method will work in order to begin installation of seats on the 2nd level ASAP.

2. Also Naghshe Jahan is currently being built at a good pace.

The entrance and pathways to the stadium, the main entrance are being built.
Locker rooms and the entrance tunnel are being renewed.
Installation of pitch and roof fabric are also continuing.
