Who is going to use it? Barghe Shiraz and Fajr Sepasi are both in bad shape. It will be such a waste.

We should build a stadium in dashte kavir and on top of EDITED: meant Mountain Damavand...take only our enemies to play there. It will be our Alcatraz.

how long did it take to build naghshe Jahan 75k seater?

multiply that by two, i.e. 40-60 years later we might see something happening.

In the mean time, we might see the "kolang-zani" ceremony every other year with crowd gathering and cheering.

Another possibility is their owner getting jailed and sentenced to execution like Zanjani for money laundry, if he forgets to pay relevant authorities on time.

It should help with recruitment for both teams.

                I don't know honestly.
Shirazis barely showed up for their teams even when Bargh and Fajr were in Hafezieh (which is right in the city).

this is what these people deserve.
If these people had any respect for themselves, they wouldn't be there in the first place.
they act like goats, they get treated like goats.

TBH we have these problems regarding tickets and etc... in almost all of our stadiums. Naghshe Jahan is slowly progressing. I think within 2-3 years most of the problems will be solved. As for tickets, they need to put more gates that sell tickets especially for the important games.

                          Foolad Arena

Installing the 4 corner roof pieces - coming along very nicely.
                          VIP seats being installed too.
At this rate if they start the pitch install in the next month or 2 I am confident they can open this stadium for use at the beginning of next season.

                          Mianrood (Pars) Shiraz Stadium

                          Seating continues.
If the pitch is installed soon we should also see this at the beginning of

                          Azadi Stadium

The mix zone has finally been renovated after years of complaints.

                          Naghshe Jahan Stadium

Lights are continuing to be installed.
Roof material has finally been ordered and is Iran.
                          Railings are installed (thank goodness).

                          Sahand Stadium
The company responsible did an amazing job to fix the pitch after they were not allowed to import the grass from where they wanted. The heating and drainage system is also helping lots. Every stadium in Iran needs this system.

All being well, we should have at least 5 stadiums with standard grass from next season. This will have a great effEct on the quality of IPL matches.

I also hope Team Melli would be allowed to access these facilities rather than going to mercenary arabic sheikhdoms.

Good grass pitches for next season:

                                Azadi Stadium (Persepolis/Esteghlal)

Sahand Stadium (Tractor Sazi/Machine Sazi if not relegated)

                                Emam Reza Stadium (Siah Jamegan/Padideh)

                                Foolad Arena (Foolad)

                                Naghshe Jahan Stadium (Sepahan)

                                Acceptable grass pitches:

Takhti Stadium (Malavan if they get promoted)

                                Ghadir Stadium (Esteghlal Khuzestan)

                                Bonyan Dizel (Gostaresh Foolad)

                                Shahre Qods Stadium (Paykan)

How would have thought 2 years ago that we would have this many at least acceptable standard pitches now. We are moving in the right direction. In 3 years all our stadiums in the PGPL must have good grass pitches.
