One thing they've messed up with the foolad design is the massive gap between the stand and the roof. Just doesn't make sense to me design wise and it takes away from the atmosphere and arena look.

I think they did that intentionally to make sure that there is a breeze coming into the stadium.

I think the real inauguration game will be either Padideh - Esteghlal or Siah Jamegan - Perspolis. The latter would take place on the final week and will probably be the championship ceremony (should we become champions)

I know the progress is slow but even this one nice stadium is a bit improvement.

well, I think with Azadi, Naghshe Jahan, AQR, Foolad Arena, Mianrood, Sahand we have 6 good-very good stadiums.Maybe sahand and Azadi should again be modernized in terms of the stands. I think one needs to be built in mazandaran (but obviously there will be issues with how much it rains there). Besides that we should have one TM base in tehran ( top end) and another top end base in Kish. Probably better not to build a stadium in kish, the island cant really accomadate thousands and thousands of people anyways, great way to destroy the nature there. But a top training base would be ideal. Then really we just need to work on building smalelr stadium/pitches for youth teams of the clubs, maybe a better training complex for national u18s, u20s, etc

Regard Naghshe Jahan, I am not happy with its roof yet. You also forgot the stadium they are building in Kerman.
