Yes refs make mistakes same as players but its one thing to make a small mistake occasionaly or make game changing desicions regularly. If a goalie misjudges a cross its one thing but if a team loses due to his goalie blundering 3 or 4 times a year big times and they lose a game due to it than its game over!! There are mistakes and there are MISTAKES !!

Next to that you are not just accused of making game changing mistakes, you were also accused of doing it intentionaly out of revenge !! The australian players and coaches literally said that if u praise him he will blow in your favour but dare critisize him and he will have his revenge !!!

missing an offside or a penalty kick is a mistake .......

pulling a yellow or red card to make up for your lack of command on the field is incompetency. An incompetent ref should not be given multiple chances.

Iran does not have any power in the AFC or FIFA. IFF cannot even write a letter in proper English. I doubt much will change with respect to favoritisms, when the time comes for the next important tournament. Iranian people have been paying the price for 36 years now.

I think the best thing Iran should have done after the red Card or after a few of those poor calls by BW players should have left the game. If they want to stop Iran from going to semifinals there was no reason to continue.

Here is what happened and we can blame AFC more than the jerk.
1. Ben Willi did a poor job in the match against bahrain and he did not even call a foul when Dej was kicked by a bahraini player and that surely made CQ angry.
2. CQ had the right to criticize refereeing but he was punished and fine $3000.
What kind of democracy Australians or AFC believe in? freedom of speech...
3. Ben officiated only 3 matches in 2015 cup and two were with Iran. why?
4. how did AFC decide on choosing a ref that was mad at CQ for a critical game and the biggest contender for the cup?
In fact IFF should have complained that Ben was the wrong man for the match and should not be have been assigned to Iran-Iraq game prior to the match.
Obviously Australia had hoped TM would lose to bahrain by any help they could give to bahrain but it did not work, so they reused Ben in QF match.
let's see how many other referees from australia were assigned to matches of korea and japan the other threats to Aussie team.
Here is a place you need someone like kaiser to write articles about what happened and what AFC does in the light of the day.

The other thing that should be done is for CQ to file a lawsuit against AFC for the 3000 dollars and the emotional stress for him and his team. in fact his claim for complaining for the bahrain match can be substantiated by what Ben did in the match against iraq. CQ can argue that if the referee was impartial in the second match it would be a proof that CQ had been wrong and since Ben showed prejudice and Bias in that match it proves the point CQ had made after the game with bahrain. The complaint to FIFA or a real lawsuit may work.
